Kalahandi,19/11 :Block Level Workshop on Child Protection has been organized on Monday in the BEO conference hall at Narla by World Vision India. Narla Block Chairman Mrs. Monorama Mohanty presided over the meeting. Mr. Bedabasya Behera, BDO Narla, Mr. Durgaprasad Mohanty, Vice Chairman, Mrs. Dipti Kandhapani, CDPO, ABEO Narla, Mrs. Sasmita Hota, BSSO, Mr. Kuber Sahu, President Bar Association Narla, Mr. Chiranjibi Goudia, President Sarpanch Union Narla, Sarpanches and Samiti Members from 11 GPs of Narla Block, Mr. PV Krishna, Program Manager were present in the meeting and discussed on the issues of Child Rights in the area.

The objective of the program was to sensitize the leaders from all works of life contributing to the lives of children on this occasion of UNCRC @30 and to present the issues of children so that each of them work towards protection of children.

The participants in the program also too a vow that they will raise their voices against any form of Child Abuse if they come across. The children from Budipadar presented a heart touching script on Child Marriage.

Members from different Village Level Child Protection committees, children and respectful leaders participated in it. Mr. John Lima from along with other members of World Vision facilitated the meeting.

ୟୁନିସିଆରସି ଆଗକୁ ୩୦ ବର୍ଷ ପଦାର୍ପଣ କରୁଥିବାରୁ ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ଶିଶୁ ଅଧିକାର ସମନ୍ଧରେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଅଧିକାରୀ ଓ ସାଧାରଣ ଜନତାଙ୍କୁ ଅବଗତ କରାଇବା ଓ ଶିଶୁ ମାନଙ୍କ ସମସ୍ୟାକୁ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ଆଗରେ ଉପସ୍ଥାପନ କରି ଶିଶୁ ଅଧିକାରକୁ ଜାହିର କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସଂକଳ୍ପବଦ୍ଧ କରିବା ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମର ଏକ ପ୍ରୟାସ ।

ଏଥିରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ସମସ୍ତ ସଦସ୍ୟ ସପଥ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେକି, ଆଗାମୀ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତରେ ଶିଶୁ ମାନଙ୍କ ଅଧିକାର ହାନୀ ସମନ୍ଧିୟ କୌଣସି ବିଷୟରେ ଦେଖିଲେ ତା’ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ସ୍ବର ଉତ୍ତୋଳନ କରିବେ । ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ବୁଢିପଦର ପ୍ରାଥମିକ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ଶିଶୁ ମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ଏକ ସତେତନତା ନାଟକ ପରିବେଷଣ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା ।

ଏହି କର୍ମଶାଳରେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଗ୍ରାମର ଶିଶୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷା କମିଟିର ସଦସ୍ୟ, ଶିଶୁ ଓ ସାଧାରଣ ଜନତା ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ । କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମକୁ ଜୋହନ ଲିମା ସଂଯୋଜନା କରିଥିବାବେଳେ ୱାର୍ଲ୍ଡ ଭିଜନର ସମସ୍ତ କର୍ମକର୍ତ୍ତା ସହଯୋଗ କରିଥିଲେ ।
